Positions Currently Available:

Sweeper Driver

  • Job Title: Sweeper Driver
  • Department: Operations
  • Reports to: Operations Manager
  • Location: Field
  • Pay Grade: $20.00-$24.00

Position Summary:

Responsible for driving to and from job sites and back to the shop and storage yard locations.
While on the job site, the employee will be responsible for completing the blowing of debris and sweeping the lot with a vacuum equipment truck.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Participate in all pre‐job work planning and safety discussions; Identify safety hazards you
    or other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate
    and/or mitigate hazards
  • Understand and respond appropriately to all safety hazards and warning devices (i.e.
    back‐up alarms, smell of smoke, different colored warning tags, warning sirens)
    environment
  • Listen to co-worker’s suggestions, safety concerns, and recommendations giving full
    attention to what they are saying and take the time to understand the points being made,
    asking questions and providing feedback when appropriate.
  • Produce quality work, meeting requirements of plans, specifications and industry standards.
  • Comply with the Company Code of Conduct and job site policies.
  • Load and unload equipment and materials
  • Vehicle and equipment maintenance
  • Blow parking lot debris with back pack blower
  • Sweep parking lot with Masco sweeper equipped truck or similar.
  • Ensure safety procedures are adhered to at all times.
  • Communicate equipment and material issues between the office/shop
  • Daily inspection of truck
  • Maintain a safe driving record
  • Handle basic maintenance of the truck, including filling the tank with gas, checking oil, keeping the unit clean and making daily required inspections.

Helper

  • Job Title: Sweeper
  • Department: Operations
  • Reports to: Sweeper Driver
  • Location: Field
  • Pay Grade: $17.00-$20.00

Position Summary:

Assist Sweeper Driver/Lead Man in the blowing of debris, lot sweeping, replacing trash receptacle liners,
pressure washing, painting, layouts, and repairing all types of service-related equipment
and components.

Essential Job Functions:

Use appropriate hand (i.e. hammer, screwdriver, wire strippers, wrenches) and power
tools (i.e. Mowers, Edgers, Weed Trimmers, Blowers, line striper, pressure washers) to
maintain and install all types of materials and components

  • Assist Sweeper Driver/lead man with maintenance/installation or repair of parking lots, fixtures, apparatus and equipment as directed.
  • Assist sweeper driver/lead man with assigned tasks.
  • May disassemble and remove damaged or worn components under supervision
  • Assist in lifting, positioning, and securing of materials and work pieces during installation
  • Clean the work area and restock supplies and materials as necessary
  • Perform minor maintenance or cleaning activities of worker’s tools and equipment
  • Help install all other items in accordance with the applicable plans and specifications
